I notice that only small part of book mentiones Hyper-V features in 2008 R2. Although I understand that it's hard or maybe even impossible to do a "resource kit" type of book on features that are not yet available, it does seem that we'll have an incomplete resource to start with :( ... I really hope that there will be some "resource kit" type of information for those features available online ... other than than, book seems like a really good source of information, so I preorder it from Amazon :)

MS - While there is a single chapter reserved for Hyper-V R2 features, all the major new features are discussed and there is a step-by-step procedure included for the more complex Live Migration process. What you have to consider is that the majority of features are common between the two versions, although there are architectural changes and feature functionality updates that you can benefit from in R2. I don't know of an online Resource Kit plan for Hyper-V R2 yet, but I encourage you to send your feedback to Microsoft Press. Thank you for your purchase and comment on the book.
